Anna Koller Lewis
After a 13-year career in Accounting & Finance, I became a wife and mother and have been spending the majority of my time raising our two beautiful children. My interest grew in Cancer Free Generation in Feb 2014, after I found out that I carried the BRCA 1 mutation. After consulting with numerous doctors about my family history and risks, I chose to undergo a prophylactic oophorectomy, double mastectomy and reconstruction. The experience was life changing and has turned me into an advocate to raise awareness on BRCA and help raise money to find a cure for Cancer. I was most recenlty invited to help work on updating the 2008 Early Act bill with Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Congresswoman of Florida. The Early Act bill is vital to people trying to prevent cancer and those living with cancer.
