Atefeh Fahimi

Atefeh was raised in Los Angeles and new from an early age that she wanted to go into healthcare.  It wasn’t until she was finishing up with pharmacy school and residency that she knew she wanted to focus specifically on the fight against cancer.  She has done research in multiple myeloma and pain management, and completed a residency in hematology oncology at UC San Francisco.  As a member of Cancer Free Generation she is given a great opportunity to support local researchers with the like-minded goal of eradicating cancer; hopefully, making the word cancer (like “cassettes” or “floppy disks”) meaningless to future generations.  “Here is looking forward to many successes in the fight against cancer!”
