Bio: For the last 10 years, I have dedicated myself to the support of patient care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in an administrative role. After receiving a prostate cancer diagnosis in 2014, I found myself fighting the battle of my life. Thankfully, after cancer treatment and recovery, I am healthy and cancer free.
Since my diagnosis and treatment, I’ve become a men’s health advocate volunteering in countries across the world like India, Africa, and the US to promote cancer awareness and support survivorship programs. I also now coordinate the Wellness, Resilience and Survivorship programs at Cedars-Sinai Cancer and hold a certificate in Cancer Exercise.
I am the founder of a nonprofit called MACHO, Men Actively Creating Healthy Outcomes and host a monthly Men’s Cancer Support breakfast at Tower Cancer Research Foundation – Magnolia House.
Fun Fact: I’m teaching myself to play piano and that I keep a gratitude journal.
