Dr. Sarah Koller

Sarah Koller, MD, MS, is originally from rural Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She earned a B.S. in Biology from Villanova University, where she met her husband, Nick. She became the first physician in her family when she earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. She and Nick lived in Philadelphia for 14 years, while he completed an internal medicine residency and oncology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, and she completed a general surgery residency at Temple University Hospital. During that time, she also earned a Master of Science in Clinical Research. Sarah and Nick moved to Los Angeles in 2018, where Sarah completed fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at the University of Southern California. She is currently an assistant professor of colorectal surgery at Keck School of Medicine/USC, where she treats conditions such Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis, fecal incontinence, and colorectal cancer. Her goal is to collaborate with her patients to create treatment plans that reflect their best interests. She feels privileged to be able to play a role in her patients’ lives at times when they are most vulnerable. She lives in Hollywood with Nick and her beagle, Harlan.
