Research Title:
Targeting ERK for Metastatic Melanoma
There are very few effective treatments for metastatic melanoma. In most cases, even if treatments are initially effective, the melanoma adapts and becomes resistant to the therapy. ERK inhibitors are a new class of treatments that are being tested in patients with metastatic melanoma.
This study will identify how melanoma develops resistance to ERK inhibitors. This will help us better understand how these drugs work and which melanoma patients would benefit the most from them.
