Karin Hoffman

Karin is a cancer survivor who emerged from her own struggle through yoga. Her personal understanding of health challenges allows her to teach from a place of compassion. She supports her students in a safe practice, to encourage self-confidence through the expression of movement

Karin is a certified Yoga Therapist C-IAYT. She teaches and has taught Yoga Therapy, Somatics, Dance and Movement Therapy to Oncology Patients at Tower Cancer Research Foundation, Cedars Sinai Wellness, Resilience and Survivorship Program, Cedars Brandman Breast Center, The Foundation for Living Beauty, Center for Radiation, and Healing Odyssey Retreats.

She served 6-years as Stress Management Specialist for UCLA’s Ornish Program for Reversing Heart Disease, and conducted Yoga Therapy workshops for UCLA’s Integrative Medical Collaborative. Karin is a staff instructor for Loyola Marymount’s Yoga Therapy Rx program, teaching Yoga for the Cardiovascular System.
