The mission of Cancer Kinship is to empower cancer patients to confidently face the disease through peer mentorship, individualized and group support, survivor education and socialization provided by caring and compassionate volunteers and staff.
This TCRF Grant will go towards improving Cancer Kinship’s organization and programmatic infrastructure to support growth of their Community Resource Navigation program. Through collaborations with local community partners, Cancer Kinship’s Community Resource Navigation program helps cancer patients and survivors navigate complex health and human services systems and receive critical services such as food, transportation, medical insurance, medical care, rental assistance, mental health services, and more.
