A grant from TCRFUCLA Simms Mann’s Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Outreach initiative provides individual psychosocial interventions, young adult support groups, and referrals to relevant resources. By developing relationships with physicians who care for young adults with cancer and doing outreach to individual patients in the medical clinics, Simms Mann clinicians are able to connect with young adults and help them address the unique psychosocial and financial problems they face.
