Women of Color Breast Cancer Survivors’ Support Project (WOC) was created to help survivors navigate the world of recovery and develop self-care plans to aid in their survivorship. Our mission is to support breast cancer survivors, offer crisis intervention in the healing process, educate women and families on breast health, and actively participate in effective change as it relates to health and racial disparities.
TCRF Community Grant is funding the Say AMEN program, which is a web-based training designed to help build the capacity of pastors, faith-leadership teams, and community organizers to create culturally-relevant mental health networks and ministries that support the mental health needs of breast cancer survivors and women at risk for breast cancer.
