Tower sponsors A Day of Beauty, a self care focused event for cancer survivors.
When side effects from cancer treatment like hair loss become reality, low self-esteem and a lack of confidence can quickly set in. Tower’s Magnolia House and Cancer Free Generation’s Day of Beauty is all about lifting survivors’ spirits and empowering women to feel beautiful inside and out. On August 5th, participants indulged in spa and salon services at B2V Salon in West Hollywood. In between facials, hair and wig styling, fake lashes and make-up treatments, participants relaxed and socialized with other survivors. The event was created to honor Laura Shanahan, one of the original members of CFG, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2014.
