Summary/Abstract:
Breast cancer treatments may have an impact on how the brain processes information and emotions as well as on a person’s attention span and behavior. To better understand and measure these changes, researchers at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center are conducting a study called Changes in Thinking Related to Aging and Cancer in Breast Cancer Survivors (TRAC). The purpose of this study is to look at how differences in cognitive (mental) function develop over time in breast cancer survivors compared to volunteers without a history of cancer.
