Magnolia Morning Meditation

Start off your week with a greater sense of calm, presence, and focus through the healing practice of meditation. Studies show that a regular mediation practice offers us numerous mind/body health benefits. Many doctors and health professionals now recommend various types of meditation. Meditation helps to bring the central nervous system into “the relaxation response,” which can ease pain, calm our nerves, and soothe sleep issues. Meditation can also help us with concentration and memory. We explore different types of meditation including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Loving-Kindness, Vipassana (Insight), and many others. We will have practice time, as well as discussion/question time to fully explore and integrate the practices more fully. All levels are welcome.
