Magnolia House is Tower’s flagship patient support program, founded on the belief that a cancer diagnosis demands more than medical treatment. It takes a community.

Through free wellness programming, educational resources, and peer support, Magnolia House serves patients and their loved ones at every stage of the disease, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.

In 2025, Magnolia House provided more than 1,200 program offerings, equating to approximately 720 hours of patient support.

Magnolia House offers a hybrid model of in-person and online classes and programs designed to support individuals through every stage of cancer. From physical wellness and nutrition to emotional and mental health support, our programs are designed to accompany you every step of the way.
All programs are free of charge for:
- Individuals diagnosed with cancer
- Cancer survivors
- Caregivers (with some exceptions)
For most of our programs, our community is based in Los Angeles and greater area, but we can welcome anyone that needs our support. For some specific programs, like the Telehealth Therapy, patients need to be located in California.
All Magnolia House programs are offered at no cost for:
- Individuals diagnosed with cancer
- Cancer survivors
- Caregivers (with some exceptions)
No formal medical referral is required. We do, however, encourage you to speak with your healthcare provider before participating in any Magnolia House program to make sure it is appropriate for your individual needs and medical condition.
Magnolia House programs are intended to provide supportive care and wellness resources and are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Participation is voluntary, and participants assume responsibility for determining whether a program is appropriate for them.

At Magnolia House, we offer a Telehealth Therapy program that consists of 10 weekly phone sessions with our therapist. Learn more and sign up here.
Healthcare providers can refer patients and caregivers to Magnolia House at any stage of the cancer experience. No formal medical referral is required.
Providerscan simply direct individuals to the Magnolia House website, where they canlearn more about our free programs and classes. Healthcare providers may alsocontact the Magnolia House team directly at magnoliahouse@towercancer.org if they would like assistanceconnecting a patient with our programs.
Magnolia House offered Spanish programming in 2025, and we are working to bring Spanish offerings back in 2027. Please contact magnoliahouse@towercancer.org for information about upcoming programs in Spanish or other language accessibility options.
All Magnolia House programs are offered at no cost, and no insurance requirement.
If you are unable to attend a class, you can update or cancel your registration using the link provided in your confirmation email or event reminders. While cancellation is not required for most online group classes, letting us know helps us better manage attendance and plan our programs.
For in-person events and one-on-one sessions, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend by calling 310.844.0269 or 310.299.8470. These programs often have limited availability, and advance notice allows us to offer your spot to another participant.

Yes! You can attend as many as you’d like to. Please be sure to register in advance on our system, and we do encourage you to speak with your healthcare provider before participating in any Magnolia House program to make sure it is appropriate for your individual needs and medical condition.
Besides group classes, we also offer individual telehealth therapy sessions, as well as individual virtual Reiki sessions.
Individual Reiki sessions arelimited to four appointments per month, withpriority given to first-time participants. Availability may vary, so weencourage participants to check our upcoming events for current offerings.
